Mike Smith

Director, Contracts & Member Relations

Mike Smith is responsible for negotiation and implementation of GSABC’s medical plastics agreements as well as relationship management with vendors and members. Mike received a Liberal Arts degree from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and was a captain in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He had a 29 year career with BAXTER where he had Sales and Marketing responsibilities with the Fenwal Division in US and International markets. From June 2002 to January 2004 he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Plymouth MN based, Minntech, Filtration Technologies Group where he had responsibility for R&D, New Business Development, Sales and Marketing.

Mike lives in Minnesota with his wife Sally.  They have three daughters.
