Marge Pierce

Director, Contracts & Technical Support

Marge manages the reagent contracts and provides technical support for the plasma, reagent, and medical plastics contracts.  Marge also manages the Services Portfolio contracts and is responsible for the identification, evaluation, development, and ongoing provision of programs that support and enhance GSABC's offerings to its membership.  Prior to GSABC, Marge held several positions with the American Red Cross, most recently the Division Director of Quality for the Mid-America Division, and Director, Testing & Production, for the National Testing Laboratory.  She has a strong technical background in operations and regulatory compliance, and expertise in system implementations and project management.  Marge has served on multiple AABB Program Units and currently serves on both the ISBT Working Party on Quality Management and the ISBT Working Party on Blood Supply Management.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology and is certified by ASCP as a Medical Technologist and Specialist in Blood Banking.
