Jerome “Jerry” Haarmann

Jerome Haarmann is the President of Group Services for America’s Blood Centers (GSABC).  Prior to becoming President of GSABC, Mr. Haarmann served as Chief Executive Officer of Memorial Blood Centers in Minneapolis from 1990-2004.

Previous to joining Memorial Blood Centers, Mr. Haarmann was President of Haarmann Business Services. Haarmann Business Services provided corporate financial advisory services to clients. This firm completed work for many corporate clients in restructuring managerial and financial functions within distressed businesses to convert them into profitable enterprises. Clients included retail firms, medical clinics, manufacturing and agricultural businesses. Mr. Haarmann was President of Haarmann Business Services for eight years. Prior to the founding of Haarmann Business Services, Mr. Haarmann served in executive roles at Siemer, Inc. and Pillsbury.

Mr. Haarmann is widely respected in the St. Paul/Minneapolis business community for his leadership talent. He continues today to provide consultation to organizations through his service on several not for profit boards as well as several for profit boards.
