GSABC also provides members with updates regarding changes in contracted products, procedures and specifications. GSABC actively tracks regulatory changes that impact contracts and coordinates with ABC scientific and regulatory staff to advocate for members with suppliers, the FDA and other regulatory agencies.
GSABC contract staff works with members to develop contracting strategies, to define business requirements and product specifications, and to determine the competitiveness of offerings. Through this member driven process, product and service requirements for upcoming contract negotiations are determined. Member feedback is solicited to identify any potential contract and product implementation issues. One of GSABC’s most important roles is resolving differences between members and its suppliers.
